PW 1053 – Ritver Stone Finish Primer is a premium-grade acrylic copolymer emulsion primer, enhanced with specially graded silica, designed to provide exceptional adhesion for Ritver Stone Finish paints and other aggregate-textured coatings. Ideal for use on masonry and compatible substrates, it creates a strong, durable base that ensures a lasting and visually appealing decorative finish.This primer has a textured finish with a specific gravity of 1.45 ± 0.05 and a solids content of 38 ± 2% by volume. It offers a spread rate of approximately 12 m² per litre at 30 microns and is available in white, which can be tinted to any desired shade.For best results, the substrate must be dry and free from oils, grease, dust, or release agents. On old concrete, remove laitance and loose materials, and repair any damages with cement-based fillers. Wooden surfaces should be primed with a solvent-based primer to prevent swelling, while steel must be coated with a suitable anti-corrosive primer to avoid rust formation.The recommended application method is by paint roller, similar to those used for standard emulsion paints. It can also be applied using a texture spray gun with a maximum 3 mm orifice, or a brush for hard-to-reach areas. Avoid application in adverse weather conditions, such as when the temperature is below 10°C or above 35°C, during rain, or when there is a risk of the paint getting wet before drying.
