Ritver Quick Dry Top Coat (W+C) is a premium finishing coat formulated with a special grade alkyd resin and anticorrosive pigments. It delivers a glossy, smooth finish with excellent durability, making it ideal for both decorative and protective applications. The product is available in all colors as per the Ritver shade card and is known for its strong performance and aesthetic appeal. It has a specific gravity of 1.17 ± 0.05, a solids content of 30 ± 2% by volume, and a flash point of 27°C.For metal and steel surfaces, proper surface preparation is essential. The surface must be clean and free from contaminants such as dust, grease, and rust. This can be achieved by sweep blasting or using a wire brush to obtain a laitance-free surface. Once the surface is ready, apply one coat of Ritver Quick Drying Primer and allow it to dry completely before applying the top coat. The product can be applied using spray or roller, with airless spray pressure set between 2000 and 2500 psi or conventional spray between 50 and 60 psi, and a nozzle size of 0.015–0.018 inches. For ease of application, up to 5–10% Ritver QD Thinner can be added, but over-dilution should be avoided to prevent sagging and run-downs.It is important to avoid application on perpetually wet surfaces or over large cavities on wood, metal, or concrete. Adequate ventilation should be ensured during application to aid drying and achieve a high-quality finish. The product should not be applied in high humidity conditions above 95% or when condensation is likely to occur. Additionally, the surface temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point for optimal results.When stored in cool, dry conditions, Ritver Quick Dry Top Coat maintains stability for up to 18 months in its original sealed containers. Partially used drums should not be left open, as a skin may form on the surface. Waste should be disposed of according to local authority regulations, and the product should never be emptied into drains, sewers, or watercourses.Safety measures should be strictly followed as the product contains aromatic hydrocarbons. Direct contact with skin and eyes should be avoided, and suitable protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and masks should be worn during application. Proper ventilation must be maintained, and vapors or spray mist should not be inhaled.In case of accidental exposure, immediate first aid should be administered. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, flush them with warm water and seek medical attention. For skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water or an approved industrial cleaner, avoiding the use of solvents or thinners. If inhaled, move the affected person to fresh air, loosen clothing, and keep them at rest. In the event of ingestion, do not induce vomiting and seek immediate medical assistance.
